Designing a book cover is a creative odyssey, involving numerous iterations and refinements. As I experiment with different designs and illustrations, the process itself becomes deeply rewarding. The real challenge, however, lies in capturing the poet’s vision and meeting their criteria, which requires a nuanced understanding of their work and intentions. This collaborative journey is a valuable learning experience, allowing me to grow as a designer and refine my skills to bring the poet’s vision to life. Haiku book covers, in particular, are minimalist in their aesthetics.
